Home Remedies to Reduce Body Heat Naturally

Drinking water is the easiest and the quickest way to reduce body heat and it helps you recover from side effects fast. Stay hydrated throughout the day not matter what the weather condition. If you are exercising, make sure you sip on water. You can also have a cool bath to fight body heat.

2. Coconut Water

Coconut water is a well-known cooling agent and an electrolyte. Drinking coconut water on hot days can benefit your body in many ways. It restores the natural electrolyte balance and cools you down significantly.

3. Lemon

We all need a little lemon magic in our lives! Apart from skin lightening benefits, these power packed fruits offer various other health benefits! Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into cold water and drink it up reduce body heat. After a hot day in the sun, drinking lemon water restores the body’s PH balance and kicks any heat related problems to the curb.

A few leftover lemon peels can help transform the way you look! Simply squeeze them into a cup and add a little salt and sugar if you feel tired and need to freshen up.

4. Sandalwood

5. Mint

Like sandalwood, mint is also effective for treatments against heat strokes. Simply chew on a few mint leaves and drink water. You could also make mint tea and drink it with a few ice cubes. Add a dash of lemon to the tea for a refreshing taste.

Add mint to your bathing water and soak in it. Alternately, you could also use mint essential oils to bring your body heat down.

6. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera’s healing properties need no introduction, do they? Yet another popular remedy to treat body heat, this lil’ shrub works like a charm! Rub a little aloe gel all over your body and follow up with a bath. You can also eat the pulp of the aloe plant to reduce body heat.

7. Amla

Amla is a powerhouse of vitamins and essential nutrients. It is high in Vitamin C and goes a long way in maintaining a steady body temperature.

Extract the juice of an amla with 4 parts of water and drink it every day in the morning. You can also add a dash of lemon and honey for better taste. Amla also flushes body toxins and keeps the body feeling light. It also helps strengthen immunity amongst other benefits.
