Steve Jobs once called it sugar water. Some science labs across the globe found these cool drinks have pesticides in it though allegedly in permissible levels. Many people across the world are still getting obese even though they stopped eating foods with high-fat content.

A scientist had similar doubt and he decided to find the root cause. So he started a research project. He found that Coke intake might have some part in making people gain weight even though on strict diets. What he found will shock you forever.

A small Coke tin has around 10 tablespoons of sugar. If you don’t know yet then that is the maximum permissible sugar intake for a day for an adult.
That’s a lot of sugar and technically that much sweetness should make you vomit.

1. 10 Minutes After Your Drink Coke

You consume an equivalent of a whopping 10 tablespoons of sugar. The phosphoric acid in Coke cuts down the flavour of sweetness and makes it go down.

2. After 20 Minutes

After 20 minutes, the body’s blood sugar spikes giving an insulin burst and the liver responds by turning sugar into fat.

3. After 40 Minutes

Caffeine absorption is complete by 40 minutes after which pupils dilate, blood pressure rises, and as a response liver dumps more sugar into the bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in the brain get blocked preventing drowsiness.

4. After 45 Minutes

After 45 minutes, the body ups a person’s dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centres of the brain, which is physically the same way heroin works, and after an hour the caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. The buzz dies down and person starts to have a sugar crash.

5. At 60 Minutes

The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.

6. After 60 Minutes

The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play(BTW, it makes you pee). It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water

7. After 65 Minutes
