You'll spend your days with real people — founders chasing first customers, athletes grinding, students building something out of nothing. Your job: capture their story. Help them get seen.
End-to-end ownership. You don't hand off anything to anyone — you find the person, you sit with them, you write the script, you shoot it on iPhone, you edit it, you ship it.
№ 01
What You'll Do
- Find real people in our community (DOSED customers, friends of the brand, interesting strangers)
- Sit with them. Listen. Find the story worth telling.
- Script it tight. Shoot it on iPhone. Edit it yourself.
- Ship 3–5 stories a week.
- Help them get exposure for their cause — their startup, their job hunt, their craft.
№ 02
Who This Is For
- You've already told stories online — interviews, profiles, Humans-of-X style content
- You can write a hook that makes people watch a stranger talk for 60 seconds
- You know how to set up a phone, read light, and record clean audio
- You can edit in CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci
- You're comfortable approaching strangers
№ 03
Who This Is NOT For
- Pure cinematographers (you'll need to write too)
- Pure writers (you'll need to shoot too)
- Pure editors (you'll need to find people too)
- Anyone who needs a brief, a deck, and a pre-production meeting
№ 04
Requirements
- Remote — occasional travel for shoots
- Has actually told a story online and made strangers care
- Not for film grads with showreels — for people who've shipped
