Before we go to the names of the big fish in this worldwide scam here is a brief on what this scam is all about.

What are Panama Papers?

panamapapers Panama papers are the leaked files of the company Mossack Fonseca whose clients were able to launder money, dodge sanctions and avoid tax. Mossack Fonseca is known for offering such services to its clients and it’s factory-like ability to churn out fake companies for its clientele.

How big is the leak?

panamaleak According to reports, as much as 11.5m documents and 2.6 terabytes of information has been drawn from Mossack Fonseca’s database.

Who are behind the leak?

‘The Panama Papers’ were obtained from an anonymous source by German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung and shared with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

Who are involved in this alleged scam

This is not just a scam but a crime in any country. The shocking revelation is that this list of people who are involved in this are nation heads, officials, and the rich businessmen, celebrities.


The financial dealings of many world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chinese Premier Xi Jinping, football maestro Lionel Messi, and 72 other former or present heads of state, across the globe.There are 75 world leaders and their relatives who are named in these files.
